Live at Musikfest

The band

Vodou is a seven-piece band that lives for the stage located in Lehighton, PA. We play funk, rock, soul, and whatever else the night calls for! Rooted in the spirit of the ’70s, but open to every genre, we play for the love of it and for the people in the room.

How we got here
  • 2023 — We began as Quantum Trebuchet, a small experimental group with guitar (Jed), bass (Zane), drums (Kian), and a different vocalist. A new guitarist stepped in as Jed had to step out, and we played two gigs at our local high school. We then split due to school and work.
  • 2025 — Jed, Zane, and Kian reformed, and went through the names Blue Voodoo and Voodoo before landing on Vodou. We added keys (Aiden), current vocals (Rowan), and brass. We played Weisstock, a high school open house and an acoustic open gig. We began finding our live sound through covers.
  • 2026 — We returned to Weisstock for a second year and played Musikfest after being accepted via the ArtsQuest Industry Conference. We started writing originals (still in progress) and plan to get an album out soon!
